This is a Plastic Mount and Demount Head used on many Early model HOFMANN tire changers with a non tapered shaft. This is for machines with plastic mount demount heads already. Using plastic mount heads is much safer for delicate and expensive wheels yet durable enough to withstand the stress of larger tires and wheels. If your machines has a metal head and you want to change it to plastic please see our other listings to for the head with adapter bracket.
