Forward Lift 991270 2-Stage Air Bag / Air Spring for Rolling Jack & Bridge Jack – AJ6, AJ7, AJ6000, AJ7000
This is a replacement 2-stage air spring / air bag for rolling bridge jacks that use a single central air bag. Air bags are a wear item: over time the rubber bellows can crack, leak, or collapse under load – signs include the jack failing to rise fully, slowly sinking under a vehicle, or visibly deflated when pressurized. Before ordering, always measure the critical dimensions on your existing bag: the stud-to-stud (bolt hole center-to-center) distance is the most important measurement. This part has two 1/2" threaded studs spaced 6-1/4" center-to-center on both the top and bottom plates.

Fitment & Ordering Notes
The 6-1/4" stud-to-stud (bolt hole center-to-center) measurement is the critical fitment dimension. Measure your existing bag or the mounting holes in the jack body before ordering. Your original bag may use bolts rather than studs – this part replaces both styles. If the mounting holes in your jack are smaller than 1/2", they will need to be drilled out to accept the 1/2" studs. Always verify the stud pattern, outer diameter, and height range match your application. Capacity rating (6–9k) varies by jack model.

This air spring is designed for jacks with a single main air bag centrally located in the rolling jack body. It is not intended for jacks that use multiple bags or a different bag mounting layout. If your original bag has a different stud spacing, a different number of mounting points, or a significantly different overall diameter, this part may not be the correct replacement – consult the jack’s parts manual or contact us before ordering.
