Description
This is a set of 5 black nylon head inserts used in many Hofmann & FMC tire changer mount demount heads. These inserts are found on the inside of the steel mount head and protect wheels from scraping and gouging due to the metal head contacting the wheel.
This Hofmann / FMC Tire Changer Plastic Insert will also replace the metal roller that many of these machines came with originally and is extremely easy to convert to nylon style insert from a steel roller. No modification are needed; simply unbolt the steel roller and bolt in the nylon insert
These inserts can add extra insurance when dealing with delicate wheels. They are made of a heavy duty nylon material to endure abuse.
