This is a USA-made 4-way air control valve (part number 8185585, also referenced as 185585) for Coats tire changers. This is the hand control valve mounted on the robo arm that controls the robo arm and bead press arm – it lifts and presses down on tires when mounting and demounting. The valve uses a 4-way, 5-port, 3-position configuration with a closed port spring return center position and a left-hand 1-inch diameter ball-end lever for manual actuation. Common failure symptoms include loss of robo arm pressure or erratic arm movement.
