Coats 8181986 Non-Sprung 4-Way Foot Pedal Air Control Valve

This 4-way air control valve is operated by the foot pedals on Coats tire changers. It controls the clamping jaw (table top), bead breaking arm, and on AX machines it can also control turntable rotation. This listing is for the non-sprung version – the plunger moves freely in and out without internal resistance or spring return. To confirm you need the non-sprung valve: remove the bad valve and manually pull the plunger. If it moves freely with no resistance, this is the correct valve. If the plunger returns to center with resistance, you need the sprung version.
