Coats 8181986 Spool Rebuild Kit for Non-Sprung 4-Way Foot Air Valves

The 4-way foot air valve controls the turntable, bead breaker, and table clamp functions on Coats tire changers. Valves come in two styles: non-sprung (plunger moves freely in and out with no resistance) and sprung (plunger returns to center under spring pressure). This kit is for the non-sprung style only. Test your valve before ordering: remove it from the machine and attempt to pull the plunger in and out by hand. If it moves freely with no resistance, you have a non-sprung valve and this kit applies. If the plunger returns to center when released, you need the sprung valve rebuild instead.
