Challenger 37016 Air Lock Release Valve (White Button)
If the safety locks on your Challenger or Ammco 2-post lift will not release, the lock release air valve is a common point of failure. This is the pneumatic push-button valve – identified by its white button – that sends air to the lock release cylinders in each column, pulling the safety latches open so the lift can lower. Replace this valve when the locks will not disengage, the button is broken or cracked, or the valve leaks air and will not build sufficient pressure to release the locks. Before ordering, confirm your lift uses the white-button style; a blue-button variant is also available and the two are not interchangeable. Note that this is the valve (37016), not the lock release cylinder actuator (37026).
