The lock release pulley axle is a small but critical component within the automatic arm restraint lock release mechanism of the Challenger E10 and X10 2-post symmetrical lifts. In these lifts, a lock release cable or lever runs through a small pulley or sheave to transfer the release force from the operator handle to the arm restraint pawl, disengaging the lock so the arms can be lowered. The pulley axle (X10-030) serves as the spindle on which this lock release pulley rotates. A worn, bent, or missing axle causes the pulley to bind or fail to seat correctly, preventing smooth lock release and potentially requiring excessive force to lower the lift.
