Coats 84356851 Bead Depressor / Drop Center Tool for Coats Tire Changers
This is a replacement nylon bead depressor (drop center tool) for many Coats tire changers. The tool pushes the tire bead down into the drop center of the wheel during mounting and demounting, which is essential for low-profile tires, run-flat tires, and stiff sidewall tires that resist seating on the mount head alone. The spring-loaded nylon plunger attaches to the standard turntable top of the machine and holds position during the mount cycle. The nylon construction will not scratch or damage wheel surfaces. Some models may require a turntable adapter plate (sold separately).
