Coats 8181354 20″ Bead Lifting Tool / Pry Bar for Coats Tire Changer Machines
This aftermarket-equivalent bead lifting tool / pry bar is a 20″ high-strength bar designed for use on Coats tire changer machines. It features two different curved ends—a flat spoon end and a flat single hook end—allowing it to serve both mounting and demounting operations. At 20″ long, 1-1/4″ wide, and 3/8″ thick, it provides the prying leverage and slot width needed to work cleanly within the valley of Coats mount heads. Replace the bar when it shows visible bending, cracking, or when the ends no longer seat squarely against the bead.

Verify your machine model and the length of your original bar before ordering—a 20″ bar suits the majority of Coats tabletop and floor-style changers listed above, but some configurations use a 24″ extended bar. On tires with extremely stiff sidewalls or truck wheels, two bars or a supplemental drop-center / bead depressor tool may be required. Always confirm fitment against your machine’s parts manual.
