The Direct Lift PMR-6156 is the latch shaft for the Direct Lift 6K Mid-Rise lift, identified in the 2005 Parts Breakdown full exploded parts view. This part number replaces the older PMR-6156FWD.
The latch shaft carries the safety latch in the lift’s mechanical lock system, allowing the latch to pivot into and out of engagement as the lift rises and the release is actuated. A worn or scored shaft can cause the latch to bind and should be replaced during safety system service.
Direct OEM replacement matched to the 6K Mid-Rise parts list. If your manual calls for PMR-6156FWD, this is the current replacement.
