Nylon (plastic) mount and demount heads protect delicate and expensive wheels from the scratches and damage that steel heads can cause, while still being durable enough to handle the stress of larger tires and wheels. This kit is designed for Hofmann tire changer machines that currently have steel mount/demount heads and need to be converted to nylon heads. Before ordering, verify your machine’s bolt hole dimensions against the product photos to confirm compatibility.
