Ben Pearson 82860 Hydraulic Cylinder Rebuild Seal Kit for Mechanical Stick Cylinders
This seal kit is designed for the mechanical stick cylinder used on Ben Pearson, Holmac, and Ammco two-post auto lifts. The mechanical stick cylinder is identifiable by the Allen bleeder screw on top of the cylinder. Stamped numbers on the cylinder will read 82860, 82803, or 86001 — any of these stampings confirm this kit is the correct one. Seals on these cylinders typically fail over time, causing slow or uneven lift travel, fluid weeping around the cylinder rod, or a complete loss of holding pressure.

- How to identify your cylinder: Look for a mechanical stick cylinder with an Allen bleeder screw on top. Confirm by reading the number stamped directly on the cylinder — accepted stampings are 82860, 82803, or 86001. If any of these numbers appear, this kit is correct for your cylinder.
- Before opening the sealed bag: Our seal kits arrive in a sealed clear bag. Do not open the bag until you have torn down your cylinder and can compare the old seals side by side with the new seals through the bag. Hold old seals up next to the new seals and confirm inside and outside diameters match. If you are not sure, call us before opening the bag. We cannot accept returns on opened or used seal kits.
