This is a hydraulic motor saver!!! Found on Older Fenner electric motors and some Emerson motors used for Auto lifts. This start capacitor rated at 110v 1000-1200 uf and is for 220v power units. Many times this is a fix for a motor that is hard to start or hums from time to time. Although this capacitor is only rated for 110vac it works on some spx units that are 208-220v rated because these particular motors only use 1 leg of power to start. Please verify your capacitor matches the numbers listed above. This capacitor should be small enough to fit under the standard side cover that is bolted to the side of most motors.
