This is a new lowering valve (manual release cartridge valve) for Duro hydraulic power units found on many brands of automotive lifts, both 110V and 220V. The valve actuates the lowering function when the lift’s down lever or button is pressed. Replace the lowering valve when the lift will not descend smoothly, fails to lower, or leaks through the valve port. This valve is an upgrade from the original: it seals with precision-machined steel surfaces rather than Teflon, providing a longer service life.
