Coats 89209611 Black Nylon Insert Rim Protector for Steel Mount/Demount Head – 2 Pack
These black nylon insert protectors fit inside the steel mount/demount head (duck head) on many Coats tire changers, cushioning the metal head against the wheel rim during tire mounting and demounting. They protect alloy wheels from scratches and gouges caused by direct metal-to-metal contact. These heavy-duty nylon inserts can replace the original steel roller in older mount heads. Sold as a set of 2. Replace inserts when they show visible cracking, deep gouging, or missing sections.
