Coats 8182961 / 182961 White Nylon Insert Protectors for Steel Mount Head – 2 Pack
These white nylon clip-on insert protectors fit over the roller in Coats steel mount/demount heads to cushion contact between the metal head and the wheel rim. Without inserts, a bare steel head can scratch, gouge, or dent alloy wheel surfaces during tire mounting or demounting. These are sold as a set of 2 and snap over the steel roller in most 50X, 60X, and 70X series Coats mount heads. Replace inserts when they show deep gouging, cracking, or missing material.
