Coats 8182827 Air Filter / Regulator / Lubricator (FLR) for Rim Clamp Tire Changers
The FLR unit on Coats rim clamp tire changers filters incoming air, regulates pressure, and oils the machine’s internal components. Common failures include a cracked clear plastic cap on the lubricator bowl or a cracked bowl sight glass, resulting in hissing air or an oil/air leak. Running a machine without a functioning lubricator dries out internal seals, causing sticky or failed components – particularly costly if the machine has an air-operated turntable motor. This aftermarket replacement sits in the factory bracket area and includes a 1/4″ union fitting in the center of the unit.
