BendPak 5525110 Overhead Limit Switch for 2-Post Car Lifts
The overhead limit switch (also called a stop bar button or kill switch) is located at the top of the overhead beam on 2-post lifts. It protects the vehicle and the lift by cutting power to the hydraulic motor when the carriage approaches the beam. The switch is triggered by a trip wire or a limit bar inside its housing. Replace the switch if the lift fails to stop at the top of its travel or if the switch body is cracked or corroded.
