This is the electrical switch that runs the motor which turns the table top of most NEWER cemb tire machines. This switch is easily identified by its light blue and white colors and 12 position screw type terminals. This switch is rated for 40 amps and works on 110v machines. It measures almost 2-3/4″ in diameter and has a square actuator shaft sticking out of one side where the cam for the foot pedal mounts.
Many times the internal contact points burn out in these switches and can cause intermittent motor hesitation or can cause the motor to stop spinning one or both ways. It is always recommended to replace the switch if you are replacing the motor and your machine.
