Challenger A2135-0 Single-Point Lock Release Cable for 2-Post Car Lifts
The lock release cable on a 2-post car lift takes constant stress every time the lift is lowered. Over time the inner cable can fray, the black outer sleeve can crack or kink, and the clevis ends can bend or break — any of these failures will prevent the single-point release from disengaging both locks simultaneously. Before ordering, inspect the full cable run from end to end: check that the sleeve is unkinked, that both clevis ends are intact and move freely in their brackets, and confirm your lift is the standard height version (11’2″ or 11’8″). Tall or extended-height columns require a longer cable assembly and will not work with this part.

Fitment and Ordering Notes
- Verify lift height before ordering. This cable fits standard height columns only (11’2″ or 11’8″). Extended or tall-height versions of the CL10 use longer cables (A2135-2 for 2-ft extension, A2135-3 for 3-ft extension) and are not interchangeable.
- Confirm single-point lock release system. This cable is designed for lifts where pulling the release handle on one side simultaneously releases the safety locks on both columns. Lifts with independent per-column release mechanisms use a different cable arrangement.
