Corghi 900436199 Bead Breaker Rubber Pad for Artiglio and Corghi Tire Changers
This rubber pad is the bead breaker rim support mounted to the body of Corghi and Artiglio tire changers. It protects the wheel rim during the bead-breaking operation: the wheel rests against this rubber bumper on the opposite side from where the shovel/blade presses to loosen the bead. The pad is a wear item that degrades over time from repeated mechanical contact, heat, and exposure to tire lubricants and chemicals, and should be inspected and replaced periodically to prevent rim damage.
