The H4P-7000 rear slip plate is shown in FIG. 16 of the Pro 14F parts breakdown. Mounted in the rear of the runway, the slip plate allows the vehicle’s rear tires to float freely during wheel alignment work, letting the suspension settle and relieving binding so alignment readings are accurate. Slip plates that are seized, gouged or no longer sliding freely compromise alignment accuracy and should be serviced or replaced.
