Challenger 12100 Equalizer Cable for 18000 lb 2-Post Lift – Standard Height Replacement
The equalizer cable is the wire rope that keeps both sides of your 2-post lift rising and lowering in unison. As cables age, they stretch, fray, or develop flattened sections that can cause uneven lifting and increase the risk of a load shift. Regular inspection for fraying, kinking, or visible wear is an important part of lift maintenance. Because both cables stretch at similar rates through normal use, always replace them as a matched pair.
This is a high-quality aftermarket equalizer cable made in the USA, designed to replace Challenger part number 12100 on the 18,000 lb 2-post lift in its standard height configuration. This cable is for lifts with an overall column height of approximately 14’6″. Fitment and Ordering Notes
Before ordering, verify your lift’s overall column height. Part number 12100 is for the standard height Challenger 18000, with an overall column height of approximately 14’6″. The extended height version (approximately 16’6″ overall height) uses part number 12019.
