Quality Q12 2-Post Lift Equalizer Cable – JSJ6-04-00 Standard Height Replacement
The equalizer cable is the wire rope that keeps both sides of your 2-post lift rising and lowering in sync. Over time these cables stretch, develop kinks, or show signs of fraying – any of which can compromise safe lifting. Replacing a worn cable promptly protects both the lift and the vehicle. Because the two cables stretch at similar rates, it is strongly recommended to replace both at the same time so the lift remains balanced.
This is a high-quality aftermarket equalizer cable made in the USA, designed as a replacement for the Quality Q12 2-post lift at standard height. The JSJ6-04-00 cable fits lifts that can be set up at two heights: 13’10” or 14’7″ measured from the base of the lift to the top of the overhead beam. If your lift overhead measures in the 15′ to 16′ range, you need the extended height version – see the link in the Fitment and Ordering Notes section below.

Fitment and Ordering Notes
Before ordering, verify your lift’s exact column height by measuring from the base of the lift to the top of the overhead beam. This cable is for standard height setups only – 13’10” or 14’7″. If your lift overhead is in the 15′ to 16′ range, click here for the extended height version (JSJ6-04-00H).
Always locate the serial number on the ID tag on the column of the lift – not on the motor. Have your model number, serial number, and production date available before calling for fitment assistance. The Q12 lift can be installed at two possible setup heights – 13’10” or 14’7″ from the base to the top of the overhead beam – both configurations use this standard height JSJ6-04-00 cable. An extended height version (JSJ6-04-00H) is available for lifts measuring 15′ to 16′ at the overhead.
