SPOOL KIT FOR NON-SPRUNG Fits Coats®* 4-WAY FOOT AIR VALVE
This kit includes everything needed to rebuild your non sprung style 4 way air valves that are found in most Coats®* Tire Changers including the main shaft and all o-rings that seal between shaft and the valve body ( aluminum body) . Typically the aluminum body is reusable so once all the parts in this kit are installed , the valve is as good as new.
This kit can be installed in as little as 15 minutes with no specialty tools

NOTE: Coats®* MACHINES CAME WITH TWO DIFFERENT STYLE FOOT PEDAL AIR CONTROL VALVES. SOME HAD INTERNAL CENTERING SPRINGS AND SOME DID NOT. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE VALVE REBUILD WITHOUT ANY CENTERING SPRING. PLEASE READ BELOW TO ASSIST IN DETERMINING IF YOU HAVE A SPRUNG OR NON SPRUNG VALVE BEFORE ORDERING.
STEP 1 -REMOVE THE BAD VALVE FROM THE MACHINE
STEP 2 -USING YOUR HAND, ATTEMPT TO PULL THE PLUNGER IN AND OUT OF THE BODY OF THE VALVE.
-IF IT MOVES FREELY WITHOUT RESISTANCE THEN YOU HAVE A NON SPRING VALVE AND THE VALVE REBUILD IN THIS LISTING WILL WORK.
-IF YOU FEEL RESISTANCE FROM THE PLUNGER AND IT RETURNS BACK TO A CENTERED POSITION WHEN YOU LET GO, THEN YOU NEED THE SPRUNG AIR VALVE REBUILD WHICH WE HAVE AS WELL BY CALLING 866-902-6060
