TC-501 / TC501 Bead Depressor / Drop Center Tool for Tire Changers
This is a nylon bead depressor (drop center tool) for use with most makes of tire changer. The tool pushes the tire bead down into the drop center of the wheel during mounting and demounting – essential for low-profile sidewalls and stiff run-flat tires. The nylon head will not scratch or damage wheel surfaces. It attaches to the standard turntable top or table surface of the tire changer. Replace when the tool is cracked, the mounting is loose, or it no longer holds position during the mount cycle.
