Corghi 900444238 Bead Lifting Tool / Pry Bar for Tire Changer Machines – 20", Flat Spoon & Hook End
This 20" high-strength steel tire bead lifting tool / pry bar is a replacement for Corghi tire changer machines. Measuring 20" long x 1-1/4" wide x 3/8" thick, it features one flat spoon end for slipping under the tire bead during mounting and one flat single-hook end for de-mounting. The tool is proportioned to fit securely in the valley of most tire machine mount heads and is built to withstand sustained prying pressure without flexing. Signs that replacement is due include visible bending, cracking at the hook, or a worn/damaged end profile that no longer seats cleanly under the bead. This listing is for the pry bar only (no sock/sleeve).

Additional Product Information
The 3/8" thickness and 1-1/4" width are designed to fit the mount-head channel on Corghi-style tire changers without play or rattling. Two ends serve different tasks: the flat spoon end is used to start the bead over the mount head during installation, while the flat single-hook end catches and lifts the bead during removal. Both ends can be used without a nylon sleeve. For wheel-finish protection, a separate pry bar sock / sleeve (Corghi 246241) is available in the store.
