Forward Lift 992317SKAA Arlington Cylinder Seal Kit for 7,000-10,000 lb 2-Post Lifts
This is 1 seal kit for the hydraulic cylinders found in Forward 2-post lifts. It meets or exceeds factory specs and fits lifts with capacity between 7,000 and 10,000 pounds. This kit rebuilds Arlington cylinders that Forward used through many years of production. This seal kit will rebuild ONE cylinder; if you need to rebuild both cylinders in your lift you will need TWO seal kits. This kit usually takes less than an hour to install and can be done with a vice, pipe wrench, and a few hand tools.
If your lift has an Arlington cylinder in it, it will be approximately 72.5" tall and hang from the top of your lift with a chrome shaft coming out of the bottom of the barrel. Look approximately 6" above the hydraulic port of the cylinder (the hydraulic port that is eye level when the cylinder is in the lift). If it reads "AA" followed by numbers, this is the proper seal kit for your lift. The gland on an Arlington cylinder has 1 hole on the outer edge for a spanner wrench. It protrudes close to 1/4" out of the barrel and is stepped down slightly from the barrel's outside diameter. If you have your cylinder apart already, compare your piston seal with the one pictured. Arlington cylinders have distinctive bronze and black seals on the piston.

If you see the letters "PRINCE", "T", or "TX" followed by numbers, or your gland is not the same design as described above, your cylinder is NOT an Arlington and this seal kit will NOT work for your lift. We also carry seal kits for Prince, Texas Hydraulics, and other cylinder brands.
Our seal kits come in a sealed clear bag. Do not open the bag until your cylinder is fully torn down and you have verified fitment by holding the new seals next to the old ones to match inside and outside diameter.
