Forward 994293 Hydraulic Cylinder Seal Kit – 2 Post DP12 Lift Prince Cylinder Rebuild
If your Forward DP12 2 post lift cylinder is leaking, this seal kit rebuilds the Prince hydraulic cylinder. DP stands for “Direct Pull” – the cylinder hangs from the top of the lift with a chrome shaft extending from the bottom. Before ordering, confirm your cylinder is a Prince brand. Look approximately 8″-10″ below the very top anchor bolt for ID stampings reading “Prince” or “AN” followed by numbers. The Prince cylinder gland has 2 holes for a spanner wrench and protrudes about 1/8″ from the barrel. Prince cylinders have a distinctive black, middle-humped seal on the piston. This kit rebuilds ONE cylinder; if both cylinders need rebuilding, order two kits.

If you see the letters “AA”, “T”, or “TX” followed by numbers on the cylinder, or if the gland design differs from the one pictured, your cylinder is NOT a Prince and this kit will not work. Installation typically takes less than an hour with a vise, pipe wrench, and basic hand tools. Return policy: Seal kits come in a sealed clear bag. Do not open the bag until you verify you have the right seal kit once your cylinder is torn down. Remove your old seals and compare them to the new seals by holding them side by side. If inside and outside diameters appear similar, you have the correct seals. If you are not sure, call us before opening the bag. We will not accept returns on open or used seals.
