Forward Lift 992617 Long Overhead Lifting Chain – 2-Post Hoist, Models 12000 2P, 12000TP Extended Height
The long overhead lifting chain on a Forward 2-post hoist attaches to the top of the hydraulic cylinder, runs up and over the roller on top of the power-side column, crosses the overhead structure, then back down and connects inside the off-side lifting carriage. Chain pins can loosen over time, links can break, and a failed roller will accelerate chain wear. Always replace the entire chain end-to-end and inspect the rollers to confirm they turn freely with no center wear before installing.
