Coats 8183060 Nylon Tire Changer Mount/Demount Duck Head – Set of 5
This is a set of 5 nylon/plastic mount and demount heads (duck heads) for Coats tire changers. Nylon heads protect alloy and high-performance wheels from damage by eliminating metal-to-metal contact with the rim during tire mounting and demounting. These are an alternative to the steel mount/demount head (part 8182788). This head fits Coats machines with a tapered shaft end where the head attaches. On 5060 series models only, verify your plunger shaft is tapered (not round) before ordering, as both shaft styles were used on the 5060. This head fits Coats machines with a tapered plunger shaft. On 5060 series machines, verify the shaft is tapered – these models were produced with both tapered and round shafts.
