Challenger JSJ5-04-00 Equalizer Cable for E10, X10, Mountain 2-Post Lift (Made Before May 2008)
The equalizer cable on a 2-post lift synchronizes both carriages so they travel at the same height throughout the lift cycle. Using the correct cable for your column height is essential – the JSJ5-04-00 is sized for earlier Challenger E10 lifts with 149-inch columns. Frayed, kinked, or unevenly stretched cables are a safety hazard and should be replaced before further use. Always replace both cables together so they wear at the same rate and maintain balanced tension.

Fitment & Ordering Notes
This cable is for E10 lifts with serial numbers beginning with 0804 or lower (the first two digits indicate year, the second two indicate month – so 0804 means April 2008 or earlier). If your serial number begins with 0805 or higher, you need part number JSJ5-04-00CH. The serial number is on the ID tag on the column of the lift – not on the motor. We recommend replacing both equalizer cables at the same time.
