COATS 8183061 Nylon Tapered Mount Demount Duck Head Kit for Tire Changer

This plastic mount and demount head kit is an aftermarket alternative for COATS tire changers and includes all mounting hardware needed to replace a steel head with a plastic one. Nylon plastic heads help protect wheel rims from scratches during mounting and demounting. This head attaches to the tapered plunger shaft on compatible COATS machines. Before ordering, verify that your machine has a tapered (not straight) shaft at the head mounting point – some 5030 and 5060 models may have a straight shaft.

This head is for COATS machines with a tapered plunger shaft. If you have a 5030 or 5060 model, check the shaft where the head attaches – it must taper from where it enters to where it exits the head. Straight-shaft machines are not compatible.
