This spring returns the carriage lock / safety latch to the engaged position, ensuring the safety locks click in automatically as the lift rises. Used in the slave-side latch assembly (Drawing 1) and master-side carriage lock/operating-handle assembly (Drawing 3).
Genuine Direct Lift OEM replacement. If your locks fail to engage or release cleanly, a fatigued latch spring is a common cause; replace springs on both columns for even engagement.
