This is 1 seal kit for the hydraulic cylinders found in newer forward 2 post lifts. It meets or exceeds factory specs. It fits lifts with capacity between 7,000 & 10000 pounds. This kit rebuilds the CHINESE cylinders that Forward used through recent years of production. This seal kit will rebuild ONE cylinder if you need to rebuild both cylinders in your lift you will need TWO seal kits.

-HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR CYLINDER IS AN CHINESE CYLINDER
If your lift has a chinese cylinder in it, it will be approximately 72.5″ tall and hang from the top of your lift with a chrome shaft coming out of the bottom of the barrel. The paint on the cylinder is typically a satin black. Also compare the gland /end cap of your cylinder to the one pictured on the left. The gland on a chinese cylinder has 2 hole on the face of it for a spanner wrench. It is inset into the barrel and is flush with the end of the barrel (see pics # 5 & 6). Also this cylinder came with a round locking ring instead of a square locking ring (see pic #5 & 8). If you have your cylinder apart already, compare your piston seal with the one pictured in pic 3. Chinese cylinders have cup shaped seals that are usually solid blue or green in color.
