Snap-On 24335 Nylon Mount / Demount Head (Duck Head) for Tire Changers – John Bean, Accuturn, Hofmann
The mount/demount head (commonly called a duck head) is the nylon component that contacts the wheel bead during tire mounting and demounting. This nylon design eliminates metal-to-wheel contact, protecting alloy and coated wheels from scratching or gouging during service. Replace the head when it shows cracking, excessive wear, or deformation that could allow metal contact. Before ordering, verify that your machine already uses a plastic/nylon mount head style; machines with original metal heads require an adapter bracket kit (sold separately).
