Ammco 3009 Motor Mounting Bracket – Pin Style to Flat Flange Adapter for Brake Lathes
When replacing the electric motor on an Ammco brake lathe, the mounting style of your old motor may not match the new motor. Older Ammco lathes used motors with a welded-pipe (pin style) attachment to the housing rather than a standard 4-bolt mounting flange. This cast iron adapter bracket (part number 3009) bridges the gap, allowing a current flat-flange style replacement motor to bolt into the same position. Before ordering, verify whether your lathe’s existing motor uses the older welded-pipe mounting or already has a 4-bolt flange – if it already has a 4-bolt flange the new motor will bolt on directly without this bracket.
