Ammco 9800 Brake Lathe Spring Silencer Band for Vented Rotor Resurfacing
When resurfacing vented (ventilated) brake rotors on a brake lathe, the open fins of the rotor create vibration and chatter that degrade surface finish quality. The spring silencer band clamps around the outer diameter of the rotor and dampens this vibration. This assembly is adjustable and can be configured as a 3-spring or 4-spring setup to fit different rotor diameters. Durable metal springs with foam inserts reduce chatter and noise during cutting.
