Ammco 5280 Brake Lathe Drum Silencer Band – 1-3/4″ Adjustable Rubber Belt
This is a premium quality 1-3/4 inch wide rubber drum silencer band for brake lathes. The silencer belt wraps around the brake drum during cutting to dampen harmonic vibrations, reducing chatter and improving surface finish quality. It is adjustable to fit many different drum diameters and is approximately 6 feet long with a solid hook fastener. Replace this band when it is cracked, stretched, loses tension, or the hook fastener no longer holds securely. Verify drum diameter range compatibility before ordering.
