Ammco®* Brake Lathe Parts / Brake Lathe Plastic Cover / Aamco®* Brake Lathe Spindle Cover

This is the black plastic retractable boot located on the left and right of the large spindle on most Aamco®* Brake Lathes. It covers the main spindle that moves when cutting drums and keeps brake cuttings from getting on spindle and into the shaft seal of machine. This will work on Ammco®* brake lathe Model 3000, 4000, 4100, and 7700 and will also work on Rels model 42036 and some others. This is a good quality boot that we use on all our refurbished lathes and customer lathes.

Note: Make sure that your machine has the large bronze ring in the current boot as this is an important part but not included when just replacing boot. Bronze ring fits in the outermost end of boot and is needed for proper operation/ fitment of the protective boot.
