Description
This is a Cross Rail lifting chain for most Forward 12000lb 4 post truck lifts built before 06/07 with cross rail chains attached to the Bottom of power side column and to the Top of the offside column. This chain runs from stud on top of Off Side column makes a 90 degree turn through X Rail to the Cylinder Side column makes another 90degree turn down and anchors in the bottom of that column. These chains can wear out. The pins that hold each link together can spin and links can break, also when a roller fails it can break or wear out the chain’s links.
When replacing your chain always replace the entire chain from end to end and always inspect your rollers that the chain rides on to ensure they are rolling freely and are not warn out in the center.
This chain is found on Forward hoist models 12K Built Before 06/07 12EWT, 12SAR,12SWT, 12LA, 12SA, 12LR, 12LAR – (Measuring 11′ 3 1/2″ Side to Side – from outside column baseplate to outside column baseplate)
(NOTE: the chain is 7 links thick and measure 3/4″ from pin to pin – PLEASE VERIFY BEFORE ORDERING.

Note: Forward chain lifts have chains running front to back and side to side. This is the chain running from side to side. See our other listings for the overhead chains. This chain may need to be cut down depending on how level your floor is.
