ALM x00096x Air Lock Release Push Button Valve for ALM 4-Post Car Lifts
This is the green push button air-operated lock release valve that activates the mechanical lock release system on many ALM and Atlas 4-post car lifts. When pressed, the valve sends an air signal that simultaneously releases the safety locks at each corner of the lift, allowing the runway to be lowered. This is a critical safety component: if the locks fail to release, or if the button feels sticky, unresponsive, or requires excessive force, the valve should be inspected and replaced before continued use.
Common reasons to replace this valve include a stuck or unresponsive push button, air leaking at the valve body, locks that release inconsistently, or a cracked or damaged valve housing.
