This shaft lock plate fits CR14/CRA14 series 14,000 lb four-post lifts, appearing in the sheave detail (left hand runway) of both the CRA14 parts breakdown and the newer CR14 parts breakdown.
The lock plate retains the sheave shaft in position, preventing the shaft from rotating or walking out of its bore while the cable sheave spins on it. It is a simple but essential retainer: a missing or bent lock plate can let the sheave shaft migrate and put the cable routing at risk.
