The FJ7566-10 is a replacement spring for the locking latch assemblies of the DL9, DP10 (new style with lock covers), and I10 (I10N000M) two-post automotive lifts, shown in the Locking Latch Detail diagrams for the left column.

The latch spring returns the safety lock to its engaged position after the release handle or cable is let go. A stretched, broken, or fatigued spring can leave the latch slow to re-engage, which compromises the mechanical safety system, so springs should be replaced whenever the latch is serviced.
