Rotary FA2230-1 Air Lock Cylinder / Lock Pull Actuator for 4 Post Lifts
This air lock cylinder (also called a lock pull actuator or lock release air cylinder) is a direct replacement for Rotary part number FA2230-1 on Rotary 4-post vehicle lifts. In a 4-post lift locking system, this spring-loaded pneumatic cylinder engages and releases the mechanical safety locks that hold the runways at the desired height. The shaft is extended in its resting (non-activated) state and retracts when air pressure is applied to release the locks. Common signs that this cylinder needs replacement include safety locks that fail to engage or release properly, audible air leaks at the cylinder body or port, and inconsistent or sluggish lock release response.
