The TP9KACX-032 is the arm lock restraint plunger spring used on Tuxedo and Duro TP9-series 2-post above-ground car lifts. This small coil spring provides the tension that keeps the arm locking mechanism and restraint plunger positively engaged when lift arms are positioned under the vehicle. When the spring fatigues or fails, the arm lock may no longer hold securely, creating a safety hazard. Replace this spring at the first sign that the restraint plunger is not snapping firmly into position or if the arm lock feels loose.
