Description
Rotary Lift N413-1 Overhead Limit Switch – 2-Post Lift Safety Cutoff Switch
This electrical micro switch and actuator is located inside a black box connected to the overhead crossmember of two-post lifts. Its purpose is to act as a safety kill switch: by default the switch is compressed and held closed by the overhead bar. If the vehicle dislodges the overhead bar during lifting, the switch releases to its open position and immediately cuts power to the motor, preventing the vehicle from contacting the crossmember. If this switch fails, the lift will cut power and stop operating.
