Shear Gear & C Clip fits Brake Lathes Ammco ® 7996

Description

Replaces Ammco®* Brake Lathe white plastic shear gear with “c” clip.

This is the small plastic shear gear inside the disc brake feed mechanism on the side of the machine. This is the most common gear to wear on your break lathe. It is designed to fail first so costly internal damage doesn’t occur to any other gears in your machine if it gets bound up.

Fits Ammco®* Lathe Models: 3000, 4000, 4100, 7500, 7700  

Replaces AMMCO®* PART# 7996

This gear is extremely easy to find and change. It is under a small metal push cover on the gear box and requires only a flat head screw driver and pair of needle nose pliers to swap out. Small white plastic gear in Ammco®* Brake Lathe feed box.
