Wheeltronic 2-0772 Glide Bearing / Slider Cup for 2-Post and 4-Post Car Lifts
The carriage glide bearing (also called a rub block, slider cup, or slide block) is a critical wear component on Wheeltronic, AMMCO, John Bean, Snap-on, and related 2-post and 4-post car lifts. These UHMW plastic cups ride inside the column of the lift post, keeping the carriage weldment square and centered as the arms travel up and down. Over time the blocks wear down, causing excessive play in the carriage, side-to-side slop, scraping or grinding noise during operation, and visible gouging of the block surface. Replacing worn glide bearings restores smooth, safe carriage travel and protects the column interior from further damage.
Before ordering, verify your carriage rail dimensions match the block outer dimensions listed below and confirm the quantity you need. A standard 2-post lift requires 8 blocks total (4 per carriage). If your lift serial number begins with “T9” or “T10” these blocks will fit.

- This listing is for 1 individual glide bearing / rub block. Order 4 per carriage or 8 for a complete 2-post lift.
- These blocks will not fit Rotary brand lifts, even though the shape may appear similar.
- If your lift serial number begins with “T9” (9,000 lb. 2-post) or “T10” (10,000 lb. 2-post) these bearings are confirmed to fit.
- Inspect the column interior for scoring before installing new blocks. Replace all worn blocks on a carriage at the same time to maintain even carriage alignment.
